Mobile phones are ruining the relationship. In a study by Brigham Young University – technology is destroying not just the relationship but also the psychological health. Mobile has created a separate space for everybody – nobody has time for anybody whether they are own kids, husband, wife, parents, brother, sister or others. Virtual world has dominated our personal conscience in such a way that no alternate way is viable ahead us.
We cannot deny the fact that in this new world, Information and Technology, mobile computing and software industry will bring lots of employment to the young generation but we should also keep a check on us regarding usage of mobile phone at home.
According to the research, dispute between couples were used to be sex, money and children; but now mobile phones has added as well. We have seen lots of reports of divorce even just because of mobile phone. We are completely over dominated by social websites but remember – our excessive participation at social platform does not mean we are social as well.
Lots of couple’s complaint about ignorance and rejection from their partners just because of their mobile phones. Their prime complaints are:
- Quality family time often ruined by mobile usage by partner
- Children became much interested in mobile and they often demand for the same
- Sometimes children visited adult or non-suitable content willingly or inadvertently – causing psychological disturbance among them
- A sense of guilt often encircled the partners while using mobile phones in excess
