According to the report published in UNDP, more than 350000 people have lost their life, majority of them were children. Main reason of conflict is Boko-Haram, a fundamental Islamic outfit who wants to establish the rule of Sharia in the country. This armed group launched an uprising in 2009. Taliban supported Al-Qaida in that war, so without any straight involvement in International Terrorism, Taliban became a potent force of repression and oppression. A Pro-US government was installed in Afghanistan but Taliban is always in desperation to end such governance in the country. Taliban offensive strategy to acquire Afghanistan started in 01st May 2021.

This is a fight between Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s forces and the rebel Tigray People’s Liberation Front. More than thousand people have died and two million people are forced to live their home amidst the conflict. Many people who fled their country entered into Sudan i.e. another conflicted area of the region. It was said that Civilian structures in towns in Tigray.

Saudi Arabia and its coalition backed the country’s official government and it has spent more than seven years fighting a rebel group of Yemen called Houthis, using its air strikes. In March 2022, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad met Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi. The visit is Assad’s first state visit to the UAE since the beginning of the conflict in Syria in 2011. This can be seen as a geopolitical breakthroughs for the peace of Middle-East.
